Ms. Alvarado

Math - Grade 6, 7

thamara@leeschools.net

Hello everyone! I'm Ms. Alvarado! I've worked as an ESE Paraprofessional and Parent Involvement Specialist during my first 4 years in the district. For the last year and a half I've been teaching 6th grade math, but this year I've also had the opportunity to teach 7th grade math and 6th - 8th Critical Thinking. You can expect a positive, fun environment in my classroom. I look forward to meeting you!

Math - Grade 6

Hello, I'm Mrs. Conley. I teach 6th grade Math. My favorite thing about teaching is that not every day is the same. Of course, there are daily routines but the interaction with students and getting to know everyone is one exciting part of each and every day.

Math - Grade 6 and Robotics

I love teaching here at Caloosa Middle.  I currently teach 6th Grade Math, and a Robotics Class.
In my Robotics Class, we get to build an Underwater Robot, which includes skills needed in the real world.  We learn to solder, and do a little wiring . We also will build a Claw Bot.  This Robot will be able to be driven with a programmable Joy Stick, and have the ability to pick up items. Similar to other Robots seen in Competitions. While Math and Robotics are my favorite subjects, I most enjoy my relationships with my students.  Middle Schoolers are sometimes strange and quirky, but so am I.   Every year I look forward to the new students who come my way."

Greeting Cougars!  My name is Mr. Koerick and I love teaching mathematics!  Numbers and patterns are so interesting to me and you will understand why later in class.  I spend my time outside of the classroom umpiring baseball and you can usually find me on the weekends at a diamond near you.  Math fact - did you know that there is no real shape called a diamond? - it is just a square.

This is my tenth year at Caloosa Middle. My love of the warmer temperatures brought me to Southwestern Florida. Although I was born and raised in Philadelphia, I am happy to be living and working in this beautiful area.  I love helping students in their journey to become independent learners and critical thinkers. Math is a great way to learn problem solving skills that can be utilized in any path that students choose to follow.
