I believe in all of my students, I want to empower my students to achieve their goals, and I want to unite my students as a team.

My name is Amy Bombace. I am a 7th Grade Life Science teacher at Caloosa Middle School. I was the first person in my family to go to college. I attended the University of Connecticut where I earned a BS degree in Natural Resources Management. After college I served in the Peace Corps in Madagascar as an Environmental Educator. I was stationed in Madagascar for over 2 years. I am very passionate about science, the environment and the human impact on our planet. I try to get my students thinking about ways to solve real world problems everyday.

My name is Mrs. McCarthy and I have been a teaching Science in Lee County since 2000. I grew up in the Northern Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I moved to Florida in 1999 and have lived in Cape Coral the majority of these past 20 years. (I did move to Louisiana for a short time period). I got married in 2000 and have three very talented children who are my whole world; making me the Soccer Mom and Theater Mom. They definitely keep me SUPER busy after school hours are over. I enjoy exercising, boating, long distance bike rides, hiking and just being still with my family.

Good day to all! My name is Justin Santasier and I have been teaching in Lee County since 2021. I grew up in North Carolina and moved to Florida in 2007. After earning my bachelor’s at University of Central Florida, I moved to south Florida where I worked in Operations Management within various healthcare facilities for 5 years. It wasn’t until I started grad school where I discovered my passion for education and made a complete career transition to teaching. I coach the boys' soccer coach and am always looking for passionate student-athletes to bring on the squad! My hobbies include playing soccer, running, reading epic novels and cooking delicious foods.
