The first two weeks of each sport season is devoted to intramural play.  Participation takes place among all students within our school after regular school hours between 4:15 - 5:15.  The coaches select a boys and girls traveling team from the intramural participants.  These extramural teams are selected to play competitively against other school teams in our zone.

In order to participate in the intramural program students must complete the "Intramural Athletics Acknowledgement, Consent & Release Form".  These forms are available at the front office or from the P.E. Teachers.   Students must also have some form of insurance.  Student accident insurance information is sent home the first day of school.  The forms can be picked up from the coaches or PE Teachers.  Students must have a minimum accumulated grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.  This is based on the report card, not interims.  A student's behavior in the classroom is important, so discipline referrals do affect the eligibility of the participant.  No Student should be older than 13 to compete in 6th grade; 14 to compete in 7th grade; and 15 to compete in 8th grade.  This only affects the grade level track teams.  However, a student may NOT participate if his/her sixteenth (16) birthday occurs during the regular school year.
